Older TI-84 Plus calculators without the MathPrint operating system don't have fraction templates. Type the fraction with the ÷ key, using brackets around each fraction, for example (1÷2)+(1÷3). Then press MATH, 1: ►Frac, ENTER to see the answer, 5/6, as a fraction. Updating the calculator's OS from Texas Instruments adds the templates.
Check your answer
The fraction calculator shows every step, including the common denominator and simplifying, and decimal to fraction converts any decimal.
